postřehy z pokusu obnovit bootování na havarovaných Windows Vista:

- internet je plný zpráv o případech, kdy se bootování nepodařilo vyřešit
a bylo nutné PC reinstalovat - to se u Linuxu nemůže stát.

- nepoužívat program "bootsect" z instalačního DVD - místo něj je "bootrec"

- "bootrec /scanos" hlásí:
"total identified windows installation: 0"
pokud je už instalace windows nalezena v BCD - nemusí to tedy být chyba!

- na integritu FS použít chkdsk a "sfc /scannow"  (system file checker -
 nemusí být ve všech systémech, možná jen u W7)
